We’ve moved!

We’re excited to let you know that our team has just moved to a new home at Gold Creek High School.

From now on, we’ll be training at this accessible, all-season facility.

A heartfelt thank you to Gold Creek High School for being so accommodating and supportive — nothing has been too much trouble.

We’re also deeply grateful to Rotary Club (Aurora Gungahlin) for providing a powered container to safely store our playing chairs, and to Capital Region Muscular Dystrophy for getting us there — with a special shout-out to RT Forklift Services for lifting us in!

Inclusive Sport in Focus: Powerchair Football Leads the Way

The CityNews article by Michael Moore argues that the ACT Government’s response to the Capital Region Powerchair Football submission will be a crucial test of its commitment to breaking down barriers in community sport. While many submissions to the Assembly’s inquiry raise issues such as costs and access, Powerchair Football highlights the unique challenges for people with disabilities—covering specialised equipment, travel, venues, and player recruitment. The submission also emphasises the sport’s transformative benefits, from freedom of movement to social connection and therapeutic value. Moore concludes that serious government support is essential for the ACT Sport and Recreation Strategy 2023–2028 to succeed.
